Weta Workshop The Lord of the Rings 1/6 Scale Aragorn, Hunter of the Plains (Classic Series)
The 20th Anniversary of The Lord of The Rings movies has a special significance to us here at the Workshop, and we are delighted to commemorate the upcoming event with a brand-new series of iconic Middle-earth figures. Let the celebrations begin! With the loss of Gandalf and the breaking of the Fellowship, many would be forgiven for falling to despair, but not Aragorn. Most would call it a fool's errand, chasing down the roving band of elite Uruk-hai to rescue Merry and Pippin, but not Aragorn. Brave, tenacious, and kind-hearted, Aragorn proved time again the worth and strength of his character. Solidifying his position as a defender of peace within Middle-earth. "While Frodo and Sam pick their way slowly towards Mordor through the labyrinthine Emyn Muil, Merry and Pippin are captives of the brutal Uruk-hai. Snatched during the raid at Amon Hen, the Hobbits are slung like luggage on the broad backs of the tireless Uruks, who run day and night through broken hills and across the rolling plains of Rohan. Faced with the choice of who to follow, Aragorn chooses to let the Ring of Power go in Frodo's care; vowing instead to pursue Merry and Pippin's captors and rescue the Hobbits, if he can. With him go Gimli and Legolas: Man, Dwarf, and Elf. Three kindreds united in purpose; three hunters, whose chase across the plains would become the stuff of legend and song in years to come. Barely stopping for breath as he beats a relentless pace across the plains, Aragorn leads his friends over rock and grass, smashed flat by iron-shod boots, single-minded in his determination to run down their quarry. Yet the pursuit drags on; where Orcs might usually seek shelter from the sun, these run unafraid under the open sky, driven by some unseen force... for great powers have begun to move in Middle-earth. As war looms and the race to secure the Ring quickens, the enemy's reach extends ever closer. " Dimensions: 32,5 x

Weta Workshop Lord of the Rings 1/1 Scale Replica Key to Bag End
During the production of The Lord of the Rings, Weta Workshop was tasked with helping to build up the very foundations of how Middle-earth was to appear on screen. From the largest of towers to the smallest of Hobbit holes, countless sketches were made detailing every aspect, and although not every concept saw its way onto the big screen, each piece played an important role in exploring the world it belonged to. For the very first time, Weta Workshop is proud to have the opportunity to bring a piece of Middle earth to life, that until now only existed on paper: The Key to Bag End. It takes hundreds of hours to design, sculpt model make, mold, and paint the prototype for each new Middle-earth piece. Whether it be a prop replica, beautiful environment, or iconic character, we treat our collectibles with the same level of care and attention to detail that we bring to our film work. Product features: - 1:1 scale prop replica; - Cast in metal (Zinc Alloy) and comes with a stand made of polyurethane; - Faithfully recreated in the style and texturing of the Bag End film-set; - Original prop designed by Concept Artist John Howe. Size: 15,5 x 6,7 x
