Dragon Ball FighterZ is the latest game in the long-running franchise that has been entertaining fans since the mid-1980s. Proving itself to be a series with staying power, FighterZ ramps up the formula for Microsoft’s brilliant Xbox One.
Dragon Ball FighterZ, as its name suggests, is a fighting game with a huge roster of characters. In a similar vein to Marvel Ultimate Alliance, players each select three characters that then form the basis of their teams. While gamers can only control one character at a time, they are able to switch between each of their chosen characters at any point during a match.
The list is huge, so there are endless options to choose from. As it’d be impossible to name them all, we’ve compiled a list of the ones that we think are the most exciting:

The positioning of FighterZ in the Dragon Ball universe is something that fans will be intrigued to learn. Some sources have noted that Goku and Vegeta are wearing their usual Gi armour, placing the game after the events of the Universe 6 saga.
When it comes to performance, fans will be pleased to learn that Dragon Ball FighterZ will run at 1080p resolution and 60fps on Microsoft’s Xbox One. This should ensure a graphically stunning and fluid gaming experience. FighterZ features a design that is faithful in its representation of the original anime series with 3D characters surrounded by traditional 2D backgrounds. This is the reason that the game has been referred to as a 2.5D platformer, similar to the popular LittleBigPlanet series.

New to DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition, players will be able to play as Dante’s twin brother himself in Vergil’s Bloody Palace Mode. For an extra depth of challenge, new modes have been added including Gods Must Die Mode, Must Style Mode and Hardcore Mode. In addition to the game’s new features, players will also receive new Dante and Vergil costumes inspired by classic Devil May Cry character designs.

DmC sees the origin story of self-assured series protagonist Dante retold against a contemporary backdrop. The Dante of DmC is a young man who has no respect for authority or indeed society in general. Dante knows that he is not human, but also that he is not like the demons that have tormented him throughout his life. Caught between worlds, he feels like an outcast. 

Thanks to his twin brother Vergil, leader of the anti-establishment group “The Order”, Dante is discovering and coming to terms with what it means to be the child of a demon and an angel. With Dante being able to call upon angel and demon abilities at will, his split personality dramatically affects the gameplay style.
